Travel Notes for Your Andaman Holiday

Pack Light, Pack Smart:
Cotton clothes, flip-flops, a hat, and sunglasses will keep you comfortable.
Don’t forget sunscreen – island sun can be strong.

Water Activities:
Snorkeling and other sports at Elephant Beach or Neil Island are usually on
direct payment. It’s totally worth trying at least one activity!

Connectivity:
Internet and mobile networks are patchy on the islands (especially Havelock &
Neil). Treat this as a chance to disconnect and truly relax.

Cash is King:
Carry some cash, as ATMs are limited on Neil and sometimes don’t work.

Ferry Travel:
Inter-island ferries are scenic but can get bumpy. Carry light snacks, water,
and maybe some music or a book.

Local Vibe:
The pace here is slow and easy – don’t rush it. Evenings are for beach walks,
fresh seafood, and just soaking in the island mood.
