Day Wise Itinerary

Meet & greet on arrival by our representative at NJP Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport. On arrival, check in to your hotel. Overnight stay at a hotel in Phuentsholing.

  • Drive to Phuentsholing (approx. 4-5 hours), enjoying views of scenic tea gardens along the way.
  • Evening: Explore the bustling local markets of Phuentsholing at leisure.
Day-1

After breakfast, complete immigration formalities. On arrival at Thimphu, check in to your hotel. Overnight stay at a hotel in Thimphu.

  • Begin your drive to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan, passing through Gedu (approx. 9000 ft above sea level) with picturesque views of Chukha Dam.
  • En route: Stop at the scenic Wankha Waterfalls for a photo break.
  • Evening: Free time to explore the local markets.
Day-2

Post-breakfast proceed on a full day sightseeing tour of Thimpu. Overnight stay at a hotel in Thimphu.

1. National Memorial Chorten – A revered stupa built in memory of the third King of Bhutan, symbolizing world peace.

2. Buddha Dordenma Statue – One of the largest Buddha statues in the world, offering panoramic views of the Thimphu Valley.

3. Changangkha Lhakhang – A 12th-century monastery, known for its wish-fulfilling beliefs and scenic views of the city.

4. Motithang Takin Preserve – Visit to see the Takin, Bhutan’s unique and national animal.

5. National Library – Houses a rich collection of historic manuscripts and ancient texts.

6. Institute for Zorig Chusum (Painting School) – Witness students learning traditional arts like painting and carving.

Day-3

After breakfast, transfer to Paro via Punakha. On arrival in Paro, check in to your hotel and enjoy a leisurely afternoon. Overnight stay at a hotel in Paro.

1. Dochula Pass (10,000 ft) – Stop at the iconic 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens and soak in the breathtaking views of the Himalayas.

2. Hongtsho Village – A brief stop to enjoy local delicacies like fresh, juicy apples.

3. Punakha Valley – A scenic drive through lush forests and terraced fields.

Day-4

Post-breakfast proceed on a sightseeing tour of Paro. After sightseeing, transfer back to Phuentsholing (approx. 4-5 hours). On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay at a hotel in Phuentsholing.

Morning sightseeing in Paro:

1. Drukgyal Dzong – Visit the ruins of this historic fortress, built to commemorate Bhutan’s victory over Tibetan invaders.

2. Paro Airport Viewpoint – Capture stunning views of one of the world’s most scenic airports.

3. Kyichu Lhakhang – One of Bhutan’s oldest and most sacred temples, known for its spiritual significance.

Day-5

After breakfast, drive back to Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station for your onward journey.
