Day Wise Itinerary

Upon your arrival at the Dharamshala airport, you will be warmly welcomed and assisted with your transfer to Chonor House, where you will stay in a Superior Room. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure, allowing you to explore and engage in independent activities. Relax and unwind, as you prepare for the adventures ahead. Overnight at Chonor House.

Day-1

Morning, following breakfast, we will drive to Palampur. Upon reaching, we will participate in a pottery workshop at the Andretta Studio. Learn from a true artisan the basic skills of throwing a pot on the manual wheels they have at the studio. Discover the intricacies of pottery-making from a local craftsman who has maintained a long-standing reputation for producing some of the finest works in this medium. Andretta is also renowned for its blue pottery technique, used in ancient Indian pottery, which has been rediscovered over time. After settling in and getting accustomed to the serene environment, we will embark on a gentle stroll through pristine tea gardens. We'll visit a working Tea Factory, where you will see the fascinating and intricate process of crafting the perfect cup of tea. You will have the chance to pluck your own tea leaves, discovering the skill required to select the best buds, and witness the multiple steps involved in processing the tea at the factory. To top it off, we'll enjoy a tea tasting session right on the estate. Later, we will drive back to Dharamshala, filled with the fresh experiences of the day. Overnight at Chonor House.

Day-2

A full day trek to triund tibba: this is the highest peak in the vicinity of Dharamsala and a perfect trek to enjoy the astounding views of dhauladhar range of the Himalayas. Drive to Dharamkot in the morning at around 8.30 am. The base of the trek is a tea shop. Hike up to the peak. On the way there are hutments made by gaddis - the Shepherds who keep roaming in these hills with their hearts of sheep and goats. Reach the peak by the afternoon. Pack lunch is carried. The meadows are the perfect grounds for overnight camping too. Spend some time here and make good use of your camera. Return by the evening. Overall, the hike is a personal experience where the Himalayan scenery becomes an inseparable part of your tour. Overnight at Tented Accommodation.

Day-3

Morning, we enjoy spectacular sunrise views and following breakfast resume your descent to Dharamshala. Upon arrival at the base, we will drive to Chonor House. Rest of the day is at leisure for your independent activities. Overnight at Chonor House.

Day-4

Dharamshala is home to the Dalai Lama’s temples. Our half-day excursion will also include stops at various charming cafés and a visit to the museum where you can glimpse exquisite Pahadi miniature art. Next, we will visit the Norbulingka Institute for Tibetan Buddhism, renowned as one of the best in the world. The Institute features its own temple, museum, hospital, and meditation hall. During our visit, we'll meet with monks to gain deeper insights into Buddhism. In the afternoon, you are free to explore at your leisure. We recommend taking a stroll along the mall road, where Tibetan refugees display and sell their handcrafted items. Overnight at Chonor House.
